Here’s your CFRC Daily News Brief for Friday, October 30 2020!

As of today in the KFL&A region there are 8 reported cases of COVID-19. There is one new case in the Queen’s community. The student who tested positive resides off campus and is following strict quarantine measures. Remember to continue with preventative measures and get tested if you display any symptoms. If you are a Queen’s student and develop symptoms or have been in contact with a positive case, please contact student health services and get a test at Mitchell Hall.

With Halloween tomorrow refrain from trick or treating if feeling unwell, try to remain within your own community, disinfect packages before eating candy, wear masks and avoid getting too close to doors. Ensure that you celebrate the holiday with as little people outside your bubble as possible, remember to remain two metres away and provide hand sanitizer.

As we are well into fall, the city will begin to collect leaves next week. Leaves must be in brown bags or bins and will not be collected from anything plastic. So get out your rakes!
