In the same meeting, Council votes to explore the creation of a municipal tree conservation incentive program, a new way to protect the city’s tree canopy by rewarding preservation. Also, an update on construction at the Culligan Water Park reveals the project has been delayed, meaning Kingstonians will be going two summers without the facility.
