Coming up on this special Club Takeover of our airwaves, we’re talking to Queen’s Swing Dance Club President Laura Bernier, as well as DJ Coordinator and Music Manager Tony ter Huurne. Queen’s Swing Dance Club is a vibrant social dance community that aims to educate and foster community around swing dancing. In continuous operation since 1999, QSDC offers affordable beginner swing dance lessons followed by social dancing every Monday evening, as well as offering regular specialty lessons, workshop intensives, and live music dance events. Meet in the Middle, the club’s annual Swing dance-centered weekend, is returning after a 5 year pause, packed with dance workshops, live music socials, and late-night dance parties.
