Coming up in this special Community Takeover of our airwaves, we’re delighted to welcome Alex, Joey, and Keshvi from TEDxQueensU. TEDx is an initiative developed by TED to spark and spread their mantra of “ideas change everything” TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that work to bring communities together to share a TED-like experience. TEDxQueensU is an independently organized TED event that unites the Kingston and Queen’s University communities. At events, TED Talks and local, live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection among attendees.TEDxQueensU is a collective of people whose goals are to teach and share ideas worth spreading. Since founding in 2009, they have grown to become the second-largest TEDx event in Canada, and the largest student-led TEDx event in the country. They use their events to showcase Canadian creativity, ingenuity, and innovation while hosting amazing speakers from around the world.
