Does radio have a place in this futuristic streaming/tik tok kinda world we live in? Episode #6 of the Leave It All On The Stage attempts to answer this question. My two guests really know their radio! Barry Rooke is Executive Director of the National Campus and Community Radio Association (NCRA/ANREC), where he has championed independent media, digital transformation, and policy reform since 2015; and Dinah Jansen, who is the Executive Director at CFRC Radio in Kingston and producer of the Leave It All On The Stage radio show!

With AI encroaching on our humanity, community radio offers something real and something of substance. It offers opportunity for the unknown artist to be heard. It offers a bulletin board for local events and a way for citizens to connect with their communities. These are good things. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?
