Coming up on this special Community Takeover of our airwaves, we’re talking to Sam MacLeod, General Manager of the Spire. The Spire, located at 82 Sydenham Street is a historic Kingston landmark with over 170 years of history. It has become a vibrant community hub for the arts and non-profit groups, housing more than 20 community and cultural groups, and serves as one of Kingston’s best large performance venues. The Spire is one of the participants in this year’s Next Great Save Competition, aiming to replace their aging heating infrastructure with efficient heat pumps and renewable technology to cut emissions. Public voting is open until April 24.
