The Soundcastle by Sarah Emtage

🏰 If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it – where does the sound go? On November 1 2020 at 1:30 PM, CFRC radio listeners found out where the sound goes in this super sweet family friendly radio play The Sound Castle.  Sarah Emtage’s new radio play was the first play to air in CFRC 101.9 FM and Cellar Door Project’s Shortwave Theatre Festival. The Soundcastle is podcasted here for your listening pleasure.  This lovely piece is sound designed by Matt Rogalsky and Jeremy Kerr.  It stars Francesca Pang and Douglas Connors and is directed by Becky Bridger.

This and other performances were made possible through the generous support of the City of Kingston Arts Council, Ontario Arts Council, The Dan School of Drama and Music and the Robert H. Black Fund through the Department of Film and Media at Queen’s University.
