Coming up on this special Community Takeover of our airwaves, we’re talking to Florence Campbell and Nanci Corrigan, past-chair and co-chair, respectively, of Compassionate Communities Kingston. Created in 2017 to bring the global compassionate communities movement to Kingston, the group inspires intergenerational compassion by providing older adults with knowledge, connection, and support, promoting vitality, purpose and a sense of wellbeing. They are mobilizing citizens to help provide knowledge and information on services available to anyone in need. Their goal is to create a culture that readily asks for and accepts help And to create a community capable of offering and providing help.
