Coming up in this special Community Takeover of our airwaves, we’re talking with Claire LaPlante, Chapter Lead of the Kingston Basketeers. Since 2019, this volunteer-run group has invited community members to assemble and donate baskets filled with new household and personal care items for women leaving emergency shelters. These baskets, filled with practical necessities and thoughtful comforts, are distributed through Kingston Interval House to women beginning a new chapter.
