Here’s your CFRC Daily News Brief for Tuesday, November 3 2020!

KFLA Public Health is reporting 1 new COVID-19 case in Kingston today, with 4 recovered cases, which brings our total number of active cases to remain at 6.

On November 7th, Rebecca MacDonald from the Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning is hosting a Custom Embroidery Ornament Workshop. In this workshop you get to choose between two different wreath patterns for your custom embroidery ornament and you get to  learn all the skills needed to complete it. You get to make theme yourselves. 

In this class, you will learn all the stitches needed to create this piece and the confidence to finish the piece at home. This event is $62.55, which includes all the supplies needed to make you custom ornament. These supplies include:

  • 3″ hoop
  • needle
  • fabric
  • thread
  • printed pattern with instructions

No experience necessary, suitable for ages 13+. Class runs Saturday November 7th from 9 am – 11.45 am at the Tett Centre (in the activity room) you can register for the event on the Tett Centre’s website. Class size is limited to 8 people to accommodate physical distancing measures. Masks must always be worn within the building.
