This show offers a mix of more traditional poetry, spoken word, dub poetry, and storytelling

Broadcasted on Friday, January 17, 4-6pm ET on CFRC 101.9fm’s ‘finding a voice’ – In the first hour, you’ll hear an eclectic mix of recordings: US poet William Stafford, Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, and Ontario dub poet Chet Singh. In the second hour, you’ll hear poetry by Canadian poet Norman Cristofoli, followed by triphop spoken word with the Austrian based group Sofa Surfers, and then a collaborative performance by US storyteller Utah Phillips and musician Ani DiFranco.
